Obtaining drone insurance for ShareGrid rentals

Physical damage (hull) coverage is required in order to rent a drone on ShareGrid. 

If you choose to get insurance through SkyWatch.AI, you must add hull coverage onto your liability insurance plan through SkyWatch.AI's mobile app or web portal. 

When doing so, you will need to provide the drone's serial number. Since you are asked to activate the insurance policy before obtaining the drone itself, please enter SHAREGRID into the serial number section. 

You will then be able to properly activate your SkyWatch.AI insurance plan.

When entering the ShareGrid Rental Shopping Cart, you will be asked to setup your new policy.

By entering support@skywatch.ai into the insurance company email line, a member of the ShareGrid team will contact us to have your policy confirmed and validated. 

If you have liability and hull insurance activated with SkyWatch.AI, we will make sure to confirm your request within 24 hours. If hull insurance has not yet been activated, we will not be able to confirm the request. 

We ask that you update us with the drone's serial number, and provide an image of the drone body as soon as your receive it from the provider.
