When flying with DJI GO 4 or DJI GO, each and every one of your flights is logged and recorded onto your personal mobile device. In this guide, we provide instructions for retrieving logs from Apple and Android devices.
Follow this guide to retrieve .txt flight logs from an Apple device with iTunes and Finder, and from an Android device.
To retrieve logs from DJI Smart Controller follow this guide.
To retrieve logs from the Crystal Sky Monitor we recommend following this guide.
Apple Users (IOS iTunes): Scroll down for Android
Step 1: Open the most updated version of iTunes on your computer and connect your IOS device. The picture below should resemble the iTunes screen that will open up. Click on the mobile icon in the top left corner to access your personal content.
Step 2: On the left side of the screen under Settings: click File Sharing > DJI GO 4 (Or DJI GO, depending on what app you are using) > Flight Records. Scroll with the arrow down until you reach the 'Save...' button.
Step 3: Save the flight records as a folder on your computer.
Step 4: Take the flight records (TXT file) and upload them to our DJI Pilot Portal.
Apple Users (MacOS Catalina or higher - Finder)
If your Mac Computer does not run iTunes, you can retrieve your flight logs through Finder.
Step 1: Connect your phone to your Mac computer.
Step 2: Open Finder, and locate the relevant iPhone under the Locations tab. Click Files in the top right corner.
Step 2: Locate the relevant DJI GO app that you are using. Click on the Flight Record folder and drag it onto your Desktop or location of choice.
Step 4: Take the flight records (TXT file) and upload them to our DJI Pilot Portal.
Android Users:
Step 1: Connect your Android device to your PC.
Step 2: Select your device:
Step 3: Find the DJI folder.
Step 4: Select the relevant DJI app you are working with.
Step 5: Select the FlightRecord folder.
Step 6: Select the files that pertain to the flight you are looking for.
Step 7: Save all relevant files onto your PC and upload them to our DJI Pilot Portal.
